The best domestic film adaptation of the science fiction and fantasy

"Big Space Travel" (1975)

"Space Odyssey 2001" Stanley Kubrick was not in the Soviet box office, but the "good people" could see it. "He - the Dragon" (2015)

"Guest from the Future" (1985)

In 1978, Cyrus Bulychev (aka Igor Mozheyko) has published the sixth book of the long cycle of the adventures of Alice Selezneva, a schoolgirl from the recent communist future. Novel "One Hundred Years Ahead" tells about the journey of Alice in the past (ie in Moscow 1970) and its familiarity with the Soviet peers.
A few years later, work began on a short television series "Guest from the Future", which has become extremely popular immediately after the premiere. Starred Natasha Guseva became a national idol. Now "guests" do not look like thirty years ago, but it is still a very charming spectacle that causes bouts of nostalgia.
"Planet of Storms" (1961)

Science fiction writer Alexander Kazantsev published a story "Planet of Storms" in 1959, and two years later, viewers saw an adaptation of Paul Klushantseva. Moreover, the tape hit is not only in the Soviet hire. A film about the dramatic expedition to Venus seen even in the US.
However, the production company of Roger Corman rewired picture renamed characters and even actors (!) And added new scenes. By the way, in America altered the tape twice. "The Amphibian Man" (1961)

The basis of the published 1928 novel by Alexander Belyaev, "Amphibian Man" was based on the French book with a similar intonation - scientist transplants child gills instead of lungs. But if in the capitalist novel, the main characters are trying to enslave humanity (man-fish lets sinking ships, and its creator makes ominous ultimatums), then in the Soviet book Ichthyander - a virtuous character, and the villains are quite different, conservative people.
In 1961, the film adaptation of the popular book was awarded by directors Gennady Kazansky and Vladimir Chebotarev. Innovative for its time underwater photography and charming acting duo of Vladimir and Anastasia Korenev Vertinskaya made a picture of one of the main Soviet romantic films.
"The Mystery of the Third Planet" (1981)

One of the best Soviet farcical comedy was filmed based on Mikhail Bulgakov's play "Ivan Vasilievich".
