Prohibitively beautiful places of the earth
Many people like to relax in the large and noisy cities, but there are those who would prefer to run away somewhere far away from the crowds and bustle. For example, in one of these very remote and extremely beautiful places.
Lake Namtso: Tibetan Plateau

The Tibetan plateau is often called the "roof of the world", and here is one of the most remote places in the world. To get to the nearest town with a population of 50,000 people or more, you need to go for three weeks: one day by car and another 20 days on foot. But there are breathtaking views of this approach.

Lake Namtso (Namtso, Tengri-Nur, "Heaven Lake") lies at an altitude of 4,700 meters on the northern slopes of the ridge Nenchentanglha. On it there are several small uninhabited islands. Pilgrims come here in late winter on the ice and remained in seclusion until the onset of the next winter, back when the lake again paralyzed ice. Now this practice is prohibited by Chinese authorities.
Socotra - Island in the Arabian Sea
Socotra - an archipelago of four islands and offshore area of Yemen. It is located in the Arabian Sea, 241 km east of the Horn of Africa. The archipelago consists of three inhabited islands (Socotra, Abd al Kuri and Samha) and Darsa uninhabited island.

The fauna and flora of Socotra is unique, it is even called a botanical paradise. More than a third of native plant species not found elsewhere, so in 2008 this place made a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

If you ever find yourself in Oymyakonsky District Sakha Republic, look in Oymyakon. The village lies on the left bank of the river Indigirka, about 30 kilometers north-west of the village Tomtor, and is known as one of the "cold pole" in the world.

Supai: Arizona outback

Tristan da Cunha: lonely island

This is one of the most remote of continents populated places on earth. The nearest continental point - the coast of South Africa, about two and a half thousand kilometers. On the main island of Tristan da Cunha is home to at least 300 people.

Antarctic Amundsen-Scott station is located at the southernmost point of the Earth. This research center built in 1956, but has since been rebuilt, because any construction at the South Pole is recorded snow. In the summer the station has a population of more than 200 people. When planning a trip to this area should be explored especially the edges. In the cold season, conditions are quite severe: a few months of Antarctic night, gales and lowering the temperature to -70 ° C.

Pitcairn is known for a very jagged coastline. You can reach it only by boat, and the best time to visit - July and August. This is the most dry months. The population is mainly - descendants of the mutineers from the ship "Bounty".
