This is not an art installation, not a warehouse and not a museum - it is a 2-storey house in a minimalist style in the Japanese city of Toyota, created by the famous architect Katsutoshi Sasaki. Black parallelepiped built on a plot of 184 square meters. m, building area 54, 6 sq. m, the total floor area on floors 2 - 102, 24 sq. m, building height - 8 m.


The scattered light enters the apartment building only from the narrow "windows", encircling the upper house the plane. The width of the house - only 3, 1 m, length - 13, 5 m Interior layout at home -. We can say, very close to the concept of an open floor plan.

The house has four bedrooms formed, study, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Access to the second floor is carried out via a spiral staircase. Outside, the building is completely paneled in black wood, and everything inside the house - made of light wood unpainted.

The integrity of the solid monumental structure violates only one glass front door, surrounded by a small garden of stones
