
Philosophical minimalism
London designer Janice Carera has created a series of posters on simple geometrical figures, showing complex philosophical concept.
It is somewhat like the famous forchanovsky meme "The red man, blue man", but this time the author of posters cost even more meager visual means. Some texts that describe the concept, we allowed ourselves to borrow from "Wikipedia", so it is somewhat different from that on the posters.
Determinism
All world events, including the whole course of human life, are determined by God (theological determinism or predestination), or just natural phenomena (the cosmological determinism), or specifically human will (anthropological and ethical determinism), the freedom of which, as for the liability would be no choice when space. Under determinability philosophical statement herein is meant that each event has occurred, including human actions and behaviors uniquely defined by a plurality of reasons, immediately preceding the present event. In this light, determinism can also be defined as a thesis, claiming that there is only one, precisely specified, possible future.

Deism
Worldview in which God created the world, but there is no need for organized religion, able to identify a supreme being created the universe. Divinity does not interfere in people's lives and the natural course of events, determined by the laws of nature.

Relativism
No point of view can not be absolutely correct. They all have a relative, subjective value, determined by the peculiarities of perception and consideration. Principles and ethics are considered acceptable only in a certain context.

Dualism
Spirit and matter - two fundamental and distinct types of substance. We human beings have both - body and soul. Moral dualism is based on the belief in the complementarity of the conflict or the body and spirit.

Holism
No properties of the system can not be defined or explained in terms of its individual parts. On the contrary, the system determines the behavior of its individual parts.

reductionism
Integrated system is nothing but the sum of its parts and can be understood by determining its components separately.

Realism
Reality exists independently of the observer. In ethics, realism recognizes the existence of objective moral values. Representative realism asserts that humans are unable to perceive reality directly.

Dogma
Dogma - Approved belief or doctrine, maintaining or religion, in broad sense, the other group or organization. It is self-sufficient, can not be discussed or to be subjected to questioning believers.

Humanism
Human beings can live a happy and full life, while being talented and ethical without any religion or dogma. Beliefs built on a unique responsibility in the face of mankind and the ethical implications of human decisions.

Positivism
The only true knowledge - one that is based on feelings, experiences and positive affirmations. The scientific method - the best approach to the disclosure of the processes occurring in the physical world.

Utilitarianism
The moral consequences of any actions are determined solely by its overall usefulness for all beings endowed with consciousness. People must act in an orderly to achieve the greatest possible happiness for the greatest number of people.

Skepticism
True knowledge or reliability possible. Skepticism is limited knowledge of the facts, reserved attitude to all theories and hypotheses.

Existentialism
The individual - the only one who is responsible for their understanding of life and the way he lives it, disposing of their own states, emotions, actions, responsibilities and thoughts.
